Ellen Verlicht

The ArtistEllen Verlicht is a Brazilian artist based in Argentina since 2014, with a degree in Visual Arts from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil, where she focused her work on photography. In Argentina, she studied Image and Sound at FADU, where she deepened her studies in screenwriting and film editing, and later graduated in Actor Direction and Staging from the Metropolitan School of Dramatic Arts of Buenos Aires. She is a director and stage creator with works in theatrical productions in Argentina. Her focus is to explore and investigate different moods, their symbolism and expressions across different environments and cultures. She often combines elements of black humor and drama, with an interest in exploring banality and tensions in everyday situations.
